Our team has got heaps of experience and knowledge to draw on. We love learning about the body, how it moves and works. We continue to do loads of extra study with some amazing clinicians from all over the world. We like to keep things functional and look at the whole body not just the sore part(s). We also often do joint sessions with you as we know you love it and we reckon two heads are better than one!
Sometimes we need to treat the sore bit but more often we find ourselves treating and retraining other bits to move better so as things don’t get overloaded, over worked, strained, tired, stiff or angry.
After assessing your postures and movements and finding the underlying cause of your problem we know where to start and make a plan which is all about ….

Training your brain is actually a massive bit of what we do. You understanding better, being more aware, less worried and feeling your body better are all crucial in rewiring your brains software to get you moving and feeling great. It is never too late to do this. You really can teach old dogs new tricks! Our patients are constantly amazed how easy it is to make the changes and break habits of a life time. How empowering is that!
We also need to make some physical changes to your body. This is nothing to worry about and is NOT the “no pain no gain” philosophy of old! We can start changing how your body moves using various different manual techniques, dry needling, Acupuncture, Clinical Pilates and movement retraining exercises. Above all educating you and making you more aware is “quay” to doing this. It’s often the simplest things that can make all the difference!
