Hello lovely everyone!
As we enter another week of lockdown and isolation, I can personally vouch that we have all had a few “wobbles” over the last few weeks. Whether it be missing our family and loved ones, missing our daily walks on the coast or beach, having a coffee and a sticky bun with friends or just browsing shops for a little treat, our lives have been turned on their heads.
Hugs are super precious right now.
BUT, there are things we can do to help ourselves and help others while still isolating safely and from our own homes.
So how about taking a few minutes in your day to think about the positives in your life?
Or, concentrate on deep breathing to calm and centre yourself. Now is the perfect time to practise a little Meditation.
Maybe you could make a playlist of perfect happy dancing tunes and dance like no ones watching you? Wave your arms in the air like you just don’t care
Do one simple thing that fills your heart with joy. It really doesn’t matter what it is as long as it makes you smile on the inside and outside.
Call or message someone you haven’t spoken to in a long time, bet they were thinking of you too.
Try something new. We have some time and space now. Let’s face it, that perfectly spring-cleaned kitchen is the perfect place to try that bit of fancy baking you’ve always wondered if you could do!
What about joining in on the online exercise revolution that is happening right now? We have loads of ace classes that are perfect lockdown antidotes. What’s more as soon as this is over, we will be doing them in person at the Hub so you can carry on the brilliant progress you have been making, and finally, meet up with your mates and go for your coffee and sticky bun and have that perfect hug. Xx
