A few comments from our lovely clients

You say the nicest things...

Have a look at some of the many comments below and feel reassured about what we do. Many of their stories may resonate with you. Rest assured, you aren’t alone!  If we can help them – we can more than likely help you too! So give us a call….

I came to QuayPhysio with a pain in the underside of my left foot and also in the left side of my back. Both were quite severe and the pain had started to get me down after trying to deal with it for 3-4 years. I was concerned I might have to quit my job and get a less active one as the pain was stopping me working.

The approach they took with me at QuayPhysio was unique in as much that they looked at my whole body rather than focusing on just the pain areas. This seemed to make sense as I had lots of areas that were causing me troubles.

My experience at QuayPhysio has been superb! From the receptionist phone call reminders the day before my appointment, to the warm welcome when you walk through the doors. From the cute little paper conical water cups for your drink whilst you wait all the way to the relaxing, calm, understanding, professional approach from the clinical team whilst treating my long term complaints.

My advice to anyone thinking of getting any aches and pains treated, no matter how long you’ve been suffering with them, would be as the Nike logo says, “Just Do It”! If you sort your body out everything else falls into place and a lot easier. Money well spent. Do not suffer needlessly.

I cannot thank QuayPhysio enough for getting me back on track to living a life of good health and wellbeing.

The words serendipity, transformational and life changing are relevant and appropriate. Over twenty five years of searching in ever decreasing circles for help and relief, for a “chronic” back condition, finally lead me to the door to Quay Physio. From my first consultation, I knew it was going to be different. I was treated as an individual, my history was carefully researched, documented and understood. I was asked what I wanted to achieve, not told what I would be given. I was assessed and a clear plan of treatment was explained, agreed, (not imposed) and started.

The outcomes were quick, successful and long lasting, both physically and mentality. Quay Physio is a unique practice which excels in its quality, it’s environment, it’s customer service, and the personal approach to individuals. My life has changed, yours can too, heartfelt thanks to Vic and the team.

The team at Quay Physio have slowly but surely changed my life. My back, shoulder and hip ached, I was woken up in the night with cramp in my legs and my gait was lopsided. I am in my sixties and so there were years of incorrect posture to correct. Then to add to my lopsided, aching frame I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis! I was used to walking several miles a day and was reduced to very short walks before my feet became too uncomfortable and painful. I had regular treatment with Physio and acupuncture which have gradually eased the pain. It is an ongoing process but with specific exercises and top up sessions the relief from discomfort has been fantastic. I am back to walking  as normal, my posture is greatly improved and I am enjoying my Pilates classes again. I cannot recommend Quay Physio highly enough, not only are they all extremely accomplished, they are also very lovely people. Thank you everyone!

Since starting to compete in Triathlon I have sought Physio and sports massage support from QuayPhysio. I train daily, often twice a day so regular sports massage to complement my stretching routine is essential to keep my muscles as flexible as possible. This combined with the excellent tailored Physiotherapy and Fitness Training I have received when I have had to deal with injury and technique adjustment has enabled me to continue to compete. The team provide a professional but a comfortable and friendly service, which I feel very confident with.

I have, over the years, seen many Physiotherapists in cities throughout the world but I can state without any fear of contradiction that following my treatment at QuayPhysio, the bar has been raised on how one should expect to be treated. The basic philosophy of treating the cause not necessarily the symptoms has been a real eye opener, with truly amazing results. I have got rid of niggles and pains I have had for years that I thought I had to live with. It would not be too extravagant to say it has been a life changing experience!

I came to QuayPhysio when my knee became increasingly painful going up & down stairs – a problem which I thought was likely to be arthritis but hoped was something fixable. They were absolutely brilliant – they spent a long and very comprehensive first appointment assessing me before saying I had a strange twist going on through my leg and rib cage which was causing the problem and could be easily fixed with the right exercises. I was shown clearly in the mirror what was going on and how the twist was affecting my knee so I could easily see and understand where the problem was arising for myself.

They gave me a number of straightforward exercises which I religiously did and with just three appointments the painful problem had completely ceased. I’m absolutely delighted and hugely relieved as I thought I had begun a downward and irreversible route to decrepitude!

I would highly recommend Quay Physio to anyone. It’s a lovely practice, a great environment and their approach of looking at how the whole body is interconnected and explaining and showing you very clearly where & how things are going wrong is fantastic and really helps you understand what’s happening and keep you motivated and positive about the required exercises and treatment. The whole range of interconnected services from Physio to Pilates, fitness programmes and massage is brilliant – a one stop shop to get you moving again!

I first came to QuayPhysio Fitness & Wellbeing with a disc problem in my back… and a number of other problems- a bit of a project! This amazing clinic offers a unique, one to one, tailor made service I haven’t found elsewhere. I loved their team approach and once over the worst I combined treatment with Clinical Pilates and fitness in small classes where I was strictly monitored with individually tailored exercise. I feel that my life has been revitalised over the last 18 months. I have since gone skiing twice and sailing in the Ionian because of quayphysio…and some hard work on my behalf too! Thank you so much.

I had previously visited several physios in the Greater London area, who provided a ‘quick fix’ for the problem I was having with my knee. Invariably, the pain returned and I was almost resigned to the notion that the condition was permanent. I visited QuayPhysio on the recommendation of a friend and it became clear very quickly just what an exceptional place it is. They were relentless in their determination to discover the source of the problem. Then they worked out a sensible and workable programme for me to help rehabilitate my knee. QuayPhysio’s approach is unique, in my experience, in that they take the time to analyse how the body is moving as a whole and really get to the root of the issue. I cannot recommend QuayPhysio highly enough: They are outstanding in their field.

I had been having problems with my hips for several years so I decided to take up the Pilates’ classes. It made a difference very quickly and I could feel that it was beneficial for my whole body. It is amazing how you think you are moving correctly when you are not. I have now been doing the classes nearly every week for the last two years. If I miss one I can really feel the difference.  The classes put emphasis on functional movements and they are always progressive which makes them more interesting. It is not a question of going through the same routines over and over again. I would thoroughly recommend the classes to anyone no matter how fit you are or whether you have a particular problem you want to address. It is probably something everyone should do!

QuayPhysio basically changed my life.  I live in Australia and had suffered from back and hip issues for several years that curbed a very active lifestyle of running, gym and hiking, to name a few activities. I had just had yet another steroid injection into my hip which just wasn’t making a difference.  I came to Quay physio for Pilates during a holiday and one day I was quite distraught during a class over the pain issue, and Vic and I started talking.  It went from there.  As a clinician and someone who takes care about whole body issues (and the person), rather than just treating the symptom, she is amazing.  I cannot recommend Quay physio highly enough to ensure maximum care and a holistic approach that gets results.  I have a ‘tune up’ every time I come back to the UK!’
